Kanye West breaks silence on his former assistant's lawsuit

Kanye West's former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, accused him of inappropriate behavior in a lawsuit. He now responds with similar language.

Through his legal representative, Ye called the allegations “baseless” and in return accused the former assistant of extortion and blackmail.

“She was terminated for being unqualified, demanding unreasonable sums of money (including an annual salary of $4 million), and numerous documented incidents of her lewd and deranged behavior,” the statement read. Eastern Time read.

Lauren previously claimed that Kanye made advances toward her when she sued him for sexual harassment, wrongful termination and more.

In the lawsuit, she said she would join the Yeezy-making company in July 2021 as its personal assistant before working at Onlyfans.

But, Lauren added, the Grammy winner asked her to leave her job at the adult site and promised to compensate her with the $1 million a year she would earn there.

However, in October 2022, Kanye fired her even though she was working as a chief of staff making $4 million annually, she says, because he offered her a $3 million severance package that she never received.
