Joe Alwyn's breakup with Taylor Swift didn't cost him his friendship with Emma Stone.
Appearing at the film's premiere. types of kindnessby Yorgos Lanthimos, Joe opened up about his “close friendship” with the two-time Oscar-winning actress who is also a lifelong friend of Taylor.
a reporter with Entertainment tonight asked Joe about his bond with Emma, to which he responded, “I'd say that too. I mean, yeah, I feel so lucky to be around her and she's the best. She obviously has great talent and she is just the best.”
Additionally, Joe will star in the film alongside Emma, Margaret Qualley (another close friend of Taylor), Jesse Plemons, Hunter Schafer, Hong Chau, Willem Dafoe, Mamoudou Athie and Keke Palmer.
His comment comes after he recently opened up about his six-year romance with the pop star.
“I hope everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that arise at the end of a long, loving and fully committed relationship of over six and a half years,” he told the Sunday Times.
Joe had further stated, “That's a difficult thing to deal with. What's unusual and abnormal about this situation is that, a week later, it's suddenly public knowledge and the outside world can weigh in.”
