Winning an Oscar is every actor's dream, and Jennifer Connelly fulfilled her dream in 2002. But she revealed on stage that she started to get scared.

Remembering the chilling experience Drew Barrymore's show, A Beautiful Mind The actress said she had a panic attack before giving her acceptance speech.

“For me, I think [had a] Total paralysis, like panic,” said the 53-year-old. “I was very nervous and overwhelmed.”

He continued: “I remember looking at the audience full of extraordinary people and then watching him say 40 seconds.”

“You know, because there's a monitor that tells you how much time you have to talk. And I saw it and I think it was a complete shock.”

Describing the awards night, the Top Gun 2 The actress said: “I was kind of floating gliding over there when I got there. I went there with my dad… he came with me, which was really special for me, and so it tied me in a little bit.”

Jennifer previously spoke about the experience, saying she was visibly calm, but when she took the stage it was a different story.

“I had a little bit of deer-in-the-headlights syndrome,” he added. “It's an overwhelming moment, a big, big moment.”
