Jenna Ortega is in awe of Winona Ryder, she says when she met her at Beetlejuice Beetlejuice place.
During an interview with the The New York Timeshe Wednesday The star said: “She was so warm, welcoming, kind and caring from the very beginning, and I couldn't be more grateful.”
She continued: “It was at a time when my career was taking a different turn and I didn't realise that I needed that from someone who could relate to me, but I did.”
“The way Winona and I got along was pretty weird. It was like we were reading each other's minds a little bit.”
Describing her reaction to the instant fame she gained after the Netflix show, Jenna said: “I felt like I had entered someone else's life and I didn't know how to get back into my own.”
“Obviously, with the success and attention she received in the '90s, Winona had probably experienced that to an even greater extent, so she was the first person I connected with on that topic,” he said.
“She made me feel seen when other people in my life, as much as they wanted to, couldn't relate or couldn't understand.”
