Jenna Bush Hager misses her daughters, Mila and Poppy, while they are camping.
The 42-year-old host recently spoke with her co-host Hoda Kotb on a recent episode of Today with Hoda and Jenna about her feelings after leaving her children at a summer camp in Texas.
“I dropped the two girls off at the bus,” Jenna said, adding that she had “little tears under my big sunglasses.”
The news presenter revealed it was Poppy's first camping experience and she had some concerns: “Poppy was like, 'What about spiders in the bathroom?' and I was like, 'You're going to make friends with spiders in the bathroom.'”
“She said, ‘But what about the heat? ’ I said, ‘It will become normal for you… it’s hot there,’” Jenna added.
Even though Jenna is happy to send her kids camping, the mother of three said, “I feel like two of my three hearts are away from me.”
For those who don't know, Jenna shares her two daughters and 4-year-old son, Henry Harold, with her husband Henry Hager.
