Halle Berry admits she wants to see her children as confident and independent individuals in the future.
During a recent conversation at a roundtable for his new film Never let it go In New York City, the 58-year-old actress spoke candidly about raising her children.
The mother of two confessed that she is “quite protective” of her children and is always willing “to fight” for them.

Berry said: “I can't wait for them to grow up and have their own life, and I can't wait to see who they become and what they do, I just want them to be themselves.”
She continued: “There's no getting around it. Whatever you do will make me proud, as long as you do it.”
“I don't want them to stay home and be stuck with me. I don't want them to be dependent on me. I hope I'm giving them enough courage and enough tools to go out into the world and make their own way,” Berry added.
