Gwen Stefani adds to her praise with a new award that also honors the late Kobe Bryant and Walt Disney
Gwen Stefani has been inducted into the Orange County Hall of Fame as one of its notable residents, along with the likes of Kobe Bryant, Walt Disney, Tiger Woods and Bill Medley.
This is Orange County's first Hall of Fame. It honored 10 of its notable residents on Friday. Among them was Gwen, who attended a public high school called Loara High School in Anaheim for four years and graduated in 1987.
Gwen looked stunning in a 3D floral denim skirt and tall boots, completing her look with gold jewelry and a bold red lip.
By accepting the honor, the just a girl The singer recalled her experience living in the county. She recounted that she “ran out of our house at 9:30 every night to watch the fireworks” at Disneyland.
“It was literally like Disneyland was our backyard,” he shared.
Thanking the county for admitting her, she said, “I feel absolutely honored to be inducted. Orange County is where my dreams were born and the foundation that shaped my life.
“Anaheim, California are my roots; It's my culture. I never left Anaheim behind. It has always been with me,” she continued.
The 54-year-old singer continued: “I have been able to share it with the world through my songs, through my style. “I have always felt pride and gratitude for where I come from.”
