The team took to their show's Instagram Story and wrote, “As we continue to navigate the tragic loss of Chance Perdomo, everyone in Generation V is determined to find the best way to honor his memory. We will not change the role because no one can replace Chance.”

“Instead, we have taken the time and space to refract the stories of our second season as we begin production in May. “We will honor Chance and his legacy this season,” they continued.

Their announcement comes more than a month after Chance died in a motorcycle accident in late March.
