Chase Crawford, who played The Deep in Boysrevealed that she received rave reviews for her intimate scene with an octopus in episode six of season three. Herogasm.
During an interview with Rolling StoneThe star said, “It's so fun and brilliant now, but when that came up, I thought, 'Oh God, how is this going to work?'”
Recalling her worries about filming the scene at the time, she shared: “And then it was 24 hours from the first day I had to film it, and I almost had a panic attack.”
Chase continued: “I called Kripke, he's great. He's got a million things going on, but his door is always open. So I was worried about the scene. I was like, 'How are we going to do this? What are the angles going to be? How naked do I have to be?' He changed a take for me. And it was great.”
And he added: “But everyone loved it,” he said. “The other day I saw someone at the gym and he said, 'I'm going to show you this.'”
“And he was in a Deep costume with a pink octopus wrapped around him at Comic-Con or something. Everybody loved it, man. It kind of annoys me, but it's cool.”
