Dua Lipa will take over Wembley Stadium for her biggest concert ever next June

Dua Lipa is set to take over Wembley Stadium for her biggest concert yet, industry sources say.

The 29-year-old Anglo-Albanian star wowed the Glastonbury crowd when she headlined the Pyramid Stage for the first time on Friday, just ahead of her June performance in front of a huge crowd.

According The Daily Mail, Dua will play to a crowd of 90,000 at Wembley next year, following in the footsteps of icons such as Madonna and Taylor Swift.

The source said: “His last tour was practically sold out, but it was a stadium tour. Making the jump to stadiums is incredible, especially when he's only on his third album.”

Therefore, he could play a date at Wembley in June and then do a full-scale tour of the United States.

It will reportedly be an “emotional moment” for Dua as she will show that the work she has been putting in since moving to London from Kosovo at the age of 15 has paid off.

Following her glamorous performance on the Pyramid Stage, Dua hosted a private party backstage where she said she was grateful to her “inner circle” and also wished her mother a happy birthday.

There, the Anglo-Albanian singer performed a medley of hits and performed plenty of gymnastic and acrobatic dance moves in a studded leather outfit as the crowd cheered at Worthy Farm.
