David Beckham is becoming more protective of his daughter Harper, who he has with Victoria Beckham, as she approaches her 13th birthday.
David, who shares children Brooklyn (25), Romeo (21), Cruz (19) and Harper with Victoria, misses the time when his daughter was just a child.
“David and Harper have a very special bond. He is a protective father by nature, so he is obviously worried about someone harming his little girl,” an insider told Heat magazine.
“She is still very young, so a lot of this is hypothetical and he knows that any relationship will be purely innocent. But he also knows that it will be more difficult for him as she gets older,” the source explained.
The football legend is said to be getting nostalgic as Harper develops a fashion sense and follows in her mother's footsteps. “In the last few months, Harper has really started to change,” the mole noted.
“She dresses much more elegantly, wears makeup, does her hair, goes out with friends and is always chatting about fashion and beauty with her mother. In some ways, David yearns for those days when she was little,” they added.
