David Beckham has added a new tattoo to his already tattoo-laden body as his tally nears its 100th.
His new ink carved into the side of his leg shows two hands pressed together, indicating a prayer position.
The former England footballer said in the post that he got this new art from Certified Letter Boy, a tattoo artist based in London.
David gave him a thumbs up for his work, tagged him and wrote: “Thanks, friend x.”
The latest tattoo adds to a growing list of tattoos for the father of three, which, according to Fisher Stevens, director of the Beckham The docuseries has approached its 100th anniversary.
“At that point I asked him, ‘How many tattoos do you have? ’ He replied, ‘I have 88,’” the filmmaker recalled.
But the figure soared after the 49-year-old was found to have “six more,” the 60-year-old said.
Given the large number of tattoos he has, the director asked David why he had so many. “I just like them,” he replied.
“I asked him if there was any form of self-torture, and he said, 'No, I don't think Siso.' That's what I thought,” Stevens concluded.
