Days after making fun of the beginning of production in the long -awaited third season of “Euphoria”, HBO announced some starring additions to the cast.
The network revealed on Friday that the cast would grow, with singer Rosalia, the actor and former NFL player Marshawn Lynch, a student of “a different world” Kadeem Hardison and several others that join the series.
Much of the main cast is returning, including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, Maude Apatow and Colman Domingo. Nika King and Algee Smith will not return for the new season.
According to Variety, Dominic Fike will also return, although his name was out of HBO's announcement.
Barbie Ferreira had said previously that she would not return, since she and the creator of exhibition Sam Levinson agreed that her character's story had ended naturally. Storm Reid also said he would not return to the show.
The cast incorporations obtained on the Internet Friday, especially thanks to a photo of Rosalia in the character that uses a dazzling orthopedic device that was included in the Instagram publication of the streamer. Rosalía and Schafer briefly date back in 2019, also stirring online interest in the ad.
The role marks the first great performance concert of the Grammy winner.
“If there is something that excites me as much as creating a good melody or writing a great letter, it is becoming a better interpreter every day,” Rosalia said in a statement on Friday. “'Euphoria' has been my favorite series in recent years, and I could not be happier and more grateful to be acting together with all these incredibly talented people that I admire so much and contributing to my 'grain of sand' to bring the vision of Sam to reality to do magic.
Lynch, a former Seattle Seahawks corridor, began acting about a decade ago and has appeared in the HBO series “Westworld”, and recent “Bottoms” and “Love Hurts” movies.
“I am played on the program and I have the opportunity to work with people in front and behind the camera. At the end of the day, I am grateful for the opportunity, ”he said in a statement.
Hardison will meet with his former daughter on the screen, Zendaya, of the Disney Channel program “Kc Undercover”.

“I was on the moon when I heard the news that I reserved it. It is surprising to return to the set with Z. She and I formed a close friendship while we shoot 'Kc Undercover' and we have stayed close, so this is really special, “he said in a statement.
Hardison also pointed out that he and the rest of the cast are “very happy” to be shooting in Los Angeles, especially following the recent forest fires that have shaken the industry.
“Our hearts are with all those affected and expect more productions to do the same and return to Los Angeles to shoot,” he said in his statement.
There are also new additions behind the scene, with the renowned costume designer Colleen Atwood as a co -producer. Natasha Newman-Thomas joins as a costume designer and François Audouy will serve as a production designer.
Other cast members include Akinnuoye-Agbaje Adewale, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert and Anna Van Patten.
Season 3 is expected to be released in 2026, four years after the launch of the second season.
