Britney Spears safe at home after Chateau Marmont 911 call

Britney Spears had a fight with her boyfriend at Chateau Marmont this week, leading to paramedics being called to the vaunted Hollywood establishment and the pop star leaving the hotel with her own security detail, The Times has confirmed.

The “…Baby One More Time” singer injured her foot and was not treated by medical personnel, but she is safe and well at home, The Times confirmed Friday.

Spears, 42, appeared to address the incident on Thursday, declaring on Instagram that “the news is fake” after a wide-ranging TMZ report about her and her boyfriend, Paul Soliz, cited sources who feared she had had a “ mental breakdown” at the hotel. The Grammy Award winner confirmed that she sprained her ankle and alleged that paramedics “showed up at my door illegally.”

“They never came into my room but I felt completely [sic] harassed I'm moving to Boston!!! Peace,” wrote Spears, whose past erratic behavior resulted in the infamous conservatorship of her 13-year-old that ended in 2021.

On Thursday night, Spears posted a video showing her swollen ankle and saying she hurt herself while trying to do a jump in the living room of her hotel suite. She said she “fell and was embarrassed” and that the paramedics' arrival “caused this big scene, which was so unnecessary” when all she needed was ice.

“It's actually pretty bad, but it happens,” the “Toxic” and “Hold Me Closer” singer said in the video.

Spears' personal attorney, Mathew S. Rosengart, declined to comment Friday when contacted by The Times. A spokesperson for Chateau Marmont did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment.

It is unclear who called authorities.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey confirmed Friday that the agency had received a 911 call at the Chateau Marmont at 12:42 a.m. Thursday but, citing medical privacy rules, was unable to identify the person. to whom the call was made.

Humphrey confirmed that paramedics were sent to the hotel after a caller requested help for an adult woman who had been injured. He said the person he called did not offer details about the injury.

“At this time it is unclear whether the crew found the injured person or offered medical assistance,” he said, adding that the ambulance left Chateau Marmont at 1:17 a.m. without transporting the person and that there was no response from the authorities. .

Humphrey did not comment on the accusations Spears made on social media.

In the caption of Thursday's video post, Spears alleged that her mother, Lynne Spears, was likely involved in the incident, which was documented in part by paparazzi. She also congratulated Rosengart, who spearheaded her effort to free her from the conservatorship of her personal and financial affairs that she installed in 2008 after a series of high-profile incidents.

“I know my mom was involved!!! I haven't talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news broke!!! “They set me up just like she did a long time ago!!!” Spears alleged in the post. “I wish I had grandparents!!! I can't stand her!!! Honestly, I don't care, I'll say it 👍🏻🤷🏼‍♀️!!!”

Then, posting a photo of Rosengart, Spears added: “Psss this man is wonderful!!! He is like a father to me and got me through last night!!! “I adore and admire you Mr. Mathew!!!”

Last week, Rosengart helped conclude the singer's years-long dispute with her father and former conservator, Jamie Spears, over the payment of her legal fees and how she handled her daughter's finances during the controversial legal settlement.

The “The Woman in Me” author also reached a divorce settlement with her estranged third husband, Sam Asghari, which was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court earlier this week.
