Babymonster discusses debut World Tour before the Kia forum program

“We arrived very late, thank you very much for waiting,” said the K-Pop Babymonster group when the members gathered around a joint room in YG entertainment offices in Seoul.

The group of girls of seven members, which consists of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyon, Rami, Rora and Chiquita, has been caught in bottling traffic when they came directly from the interview rehearsals.

Babymonster members have been dedicating much of their time to essays while preparing for their debut World Tour, Hello Monsters, which stops in Los Angeles on Sunday at the Kia forum.

The group was visibly excited when their faces light up with the possibility of coming to California and meeting their monstiez, his name Fandom, for the first time. Rami also expressed how “an honor” was “to have the opportunity to act in a place like the KIA forum and follow the steps of K-Pop idols such as Aespa, Suga de BTS and Blackpink.

Babymonster members had tight lips about what Los Angeles fans could expect from the next program, since they wanted it to be full of surprises and wanted each program to be different and fun for fans.

Despite his young age, with the younger member of Chiquita with only 14 years when he debuted, the group members have taken this same safe and elegant behavior during their trip to stardom.

The members were gathered from all over Asia, South Korea, Japan and Thailand, to participate in the high pressure hearing process to form babymonster and enter the K-Pop scene.

“We were very young when we entered this company, but we arrived knowing that we wanted to do it. There was a lot of pressure on us, but we enjoyed some of the moments under that pressure, ”said Pharita. “We enjoy developing and working towards our goals and we are happy where we are.”

Babymonster made his official debut with a homonymous mini-album in April 2024 and in less than a year, the members of the young group have been driven to stardom and captured the imagination of fans worldwide.

“It has not even been a full year since we debuted with our mini-album, 'Babymons7er', but we are very happy with how everything has been and incredibly grateful to have received so much love from the beginning,” Rami said.

The homonym mini album introduced fans the versatility and emphatic actions of the group with clues such as “Sheesh”, “Like That” and “Batter Up”.

The group members were based on their success with their debut studio album, “Drip”, which was launched in November 2024.

If you talk to Babymonster enough time, then a word arises that will inevitably arise: “Swagger.” This is in the heart of everything they do, since they are expressed effortlessly through their music, fashion and performances.

A song that encapsulates that Swagger is the main song, “Drip”, which quickly became a favorite of fans with their infectious hooks and boasting lyrics as “I could be the goat.” Babymonster believes that this track perfectly encapsulates the image that the group wants to project, showing its true colors with a “super bomb” track.

The song, which has almost 120 million currents only in Spotify, was a great time for the group, since it showed its versatility with the unexpected help of the idol K-Pop G-Dragon.

Rapper Bigbang, who recently released his first long -term album in 12 years, has supported Babymonster during the group's rise to fame while watching the live performance of the group in Seoul in October and also contributed to his main song, “Drip.”

“G-Dragon is a senior that we really admire and we really want to express our gratitude for the support we received during the production of 'Drip,” Rora said. “G-Dragon provided a lot of help with the demonstrations he sent and tried to play with different tones and the Swag and Hip-Hop atmosphere was something that Babymonster played to show the best possible.”

Asa added: “At first, there was originally a part of rap, but after receiving a demonstration from G-Dragon, we played with the raps and could show the loot that G-Dragon possesses.”

When he talked to Babymonster, he became very quickly as motivated as the group of growing as artists. They are inspired by their “elderly”, artists who debuted before them, and look at groups such as 2NE1 and Blackpink.

They also meticulously see their own actions to “monitor their growth” and learn from past experiences, ensuring that they continue to grow as artists.

Ahyon shared that by acting in concerts, they immerse themselves completely at the time and enjoy energy. “It was a very happy moment for us and it is very important for artists to feel happiness on stage. [We were able to] Express and feel that environment and energy. “They are still committed to learning from each experience and offering even better actions for their fans in the future.

Babymonster is still one of the main K-Pop groups of fifth generation, artists who made their debut after 2023, and seek to follow in the footsteps of their Blackpink tag companions by bringing Korean culture to the masses.

“We are delighted to see the Korean culture extended throughout the world and all thanks to our elders, who have been doing it continuously during the past [few] years, ”said Rora. “Babymonster plans to work so hard to continue this impulse and spread the K-Pop and Korean culture to everyone.”
