Pullman opens first UAE resort in Ras Al Khaimah – Business Traveler

Accor Group's Pullman has opened its first resort in the United Arab Emirates within the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

The Marjan Island Resort and Spa has now been renamed Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island.

Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island welcomed its first guests on February 5, following a renovation of its 300 rooms and suites.

Additional improvements are expected to continue throughout the year, with refreshed dining concepts launching in the fourth quarter of 2024 and a guest room renovation program in early 2025.

Currently, the complex houses five restaurants offering a variety of cuisines including Arabic, Asian, Lebanese and Italian, among others.

The property has a swimming pool, wellness facilities and a variety of retail outlets. The resort is located a 45-minute drive from Dubai International Airport and a 40-minute drive from Sharjah International Airport.

In terms of its sustainability efforts, the resort is Silver Earth Check certified.

Recently, the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) said that 2023 was the best year for its tourism, as the emirate welcomed a record 1.22 million overnight arrivals. That figure represents an 8 percent increase on 2022 figures and follows a significant 24 percent year-on-year growth in international visitors.
