American Airlines confirms new route to Brisbane – Business Traveler

American Airlines will offer first service between Dallas DFW and Brisbane BNE, Australia, beginning in October.

This new service, which will launch from American's largest hub, will allow one-stop connections to BNE from more than 100 destinations in the United States that currently require at least two stops.

Brisbane and the state of Queensland are known for their picturesque coastlines, world-famous zoos, a vibrant cultural scene and 280 days of sunshine a year.

When American's seasonal service begins, it will be the longest nonstop flight in the airline's network.

American will fly its latest high-quality Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to BNE.

These newly designed 787-9s feature 51 Flagship Suite® seats in a 1-2-1 configuration with private doors, and 32 premium economy seats in a 2-3-2 configuration.
