The answers to today's Quordle, game #849, are…

It's been a while since we've had a rare letter on Quordle, but today we have an X-shaped one on DETOX. That's probably the most difficult word here, although USE can also cause some problems, since U is not usually seen at the beginning of an answer. There will be no such problems with AUDIO, as its four vowels will almost certainly make it stand out from the start.
