The answers to today’s Quordle, game #918, are…

This is a pretty standard Quordle, in that it's moderately difficult. That's the default, isn't it? Pretty hard is the norm, easy the exception. There's an X here, which complicates things immediately, plus a repeated O in SHOOK. TAWNY is a relatively uncommon word, SALVE maybe too. I got there, but it was always a struggle.

Meanwhile, the daily sequence was like a Quordle Greatest Hit of difficult words: MYRRH? Wow! DOZEN? Yeah. ESTER? There you go. Good luck with that one.
