NYT Strands Today (Game #244): The Answers
The answers to today's Strands game #244 are…
- PRINTER
- SCISSORS
- PENCILS
- STAPLER
- RULER
- SPANGRAM: OFFICE SUPPLIES
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
As a father of teenage daughters, I am very familiar with all the OFFICE SUPPLIES that exist today. Not because they work in an office, obviously, but because they're in school and seem to use about 20 RULES and 50 PENCILS a year, constantly need help using the PRINTER, and still seem a little clueless about how to use SCISSORS. or a STAPLER. Kids today, huh? Too much screen time, clearly.
My own parenting issues aside, this was an easy Strands puzzle to solve. The theme track gave me a good nudge in the right direction, and when I found PRINTER by accident, my course was duly charted. There was no need to think about any of the words, and only the spangram, which was quite long and complex, posed a real challenge.
How was today? Send me an email and let me know.
