NYT Strands Today (Game #210): The Answers
The answers to today's 210th Strands game are…
- PUMPKIN
- PUMPKIN
- ONION
- APPLE
- RADISH
- SWEDE
- SPANGRAM: FALL HARVEST
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
Today I was introduced to kohlrabi for the first time, a vegetable whose name apparently translates literally as 'cabbage turnip' and which tastes a bit like broccoli stalk. Fortunately, the other answers today were much easier to find, although I did have a bit of difficulty with the spangram, FALLHARVEST, because here in the UK we say “autumn” and not “fall”. But no matter: I was able to discover enough answers that the spangram was finally revealed to me, and although it still took me a while to realize that the last word was actually the aforementioned KOHLRABI, I got there without needing any clues.
How was today? Send me an email and let me know.
Answers from yesterday's NYT Strands (Saturday, September 28, game #209)
- HAPPINESS
- LOVE
- GRATITUDE
- PLEASURE
- EXCITEMENT
- SPANGRAM: EMOTIONS
