NYT Strands Today (Game #106): The Answers
The answers to today's Strands game number 106 are…
- RISK
- MONOPOLY
- PROBLEM
- CLUE
- I'M SORRY
- BATTLESHIP
- SPANGRAM: BOARD GAMES
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
This was a relatively easy Strands game, even though I hadn't heard of a couple of the games in question (and even though one, CLUE, is called CLUEDO in the UK).
MONOPOLY and RISK stood out immediately, and once I knew what I was looking for, the BOARDGAMES spangram was simple too. That split the grid in half and made it much easier to find the remaining answers. As I mentioned, I was unfamiliar with a couple, PROBLEM and SORRY, but once the spangram was in place, there were only a limited number of words I could make with the remaining letters, so I removed them one by one with a Minimum of fuss.
