I was a little baffled by the “Bed, bath and beyond” theme clue today, as I went down a slightly wrong path due to the “bath and beyond” aspect. At the time I played, I didn’t know that Bed, Bath & Beyond was an American specialty home goods store, a fact I’m sure anyone reading this in North America will know. However, I’m writing this in the UK and didn’t know that, meaning I didn’t realise that the “bath” aspect in particular was a red herring for the game, and in fact that things like the TABLECLOTH and TOWEL (two things that don’t go on the bed) could also be included.
It turns out I found SHEET and BLANKET on my own, then got TOWEL through a clue, and that gave me enough information to be able to find the rest, including the spangram BEDDING.
How did your day go? Send me an email and let me know.
