NYT Strands today (game #153): the answers
The answers to today's Strands game #153 are…
- BAROQUE
- MODERN
- ROMANTIC
- CLASSIC
- MEDIEVAL
- SPANGRAM: HISTORY OF ART
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
I solved this problem in a rather indirect way, first by getting the spangram and then finding the individual answers, but otherwise I probably would have had a hard time. The theme clue for “A Night at the Museum” didn't suggest ART HISTORY or things like ROMANTIC or BAROQUE to me; I was thinking of dinosaurs, Romans, mummies, etc.
Still, with ARTHISTORY in place, it became obvious what kind of words I needed to find, and I checked them all off with minimal effort from there.
How did your day go? Send me an email and let me know.
Answers from yesterday's NYT Strands (Friday, August 2, match #152)
