Intel Arc graphics are good but could be better
Intel Arc graphics cards continue to improve in performance and efficiency with each new update and are quickly closing in on some of the best graphics cards on the market. Not to mention that Intel cards are on the low budget spectrum, which is a market that is seriously lacking in this generation due to the apathy of AMD and Nvidia.
Cards like Intel Arch A770 and Intel Arc A750 are also making strides when it comes to creative and editing workloads, with up to 40% more performance compared to the 2022 launch drivers. In fact, these graphics cards are a far cry from their underpowered launch versions and deserve to be alongside their rivals Team Green (Nvidia) and Team Red (AMD).
However, Team Blue (Intel) cards are still lagging in key areas such as AI development and gaming, meaning they are not considered a viable investment. He January 2024 The Steam Hardware & Software survey proves this to be true, as Nvidia is still considered the golden girl. It also has problems running much older games all together. couldn't run star fieldan issue that Nvidia and AMD do not share.
Ultimately, these are points that Intel must take into account before launching a new generation of graphics cards. If the tech giant can address these issues, it will truly have the best budget graphics cards out there.
