They cloned Tyrone is a pulp sci-fi mystery comedy about an unlikely trio—street hustler Fontaine (John Boyega), failed pimp Slick Charles (Jamie Foxx), and escort/aspiring detective Yo-Yo (Teyonah Parris)—who uncover a government criminal conspiracy in a fictional U.S. city where some truly spooky events are taking place.
At the time of its release, we wrote that “They cloned Tyrone is the rare sci-fi comedy movie Netflix needs right now” with strong performances from the three main stars and stylishly influenced by the blaxploitation films of the 60s. It may sound like the hit Netflix show Stranger Thingsbut They cloned Tyrone That's far from the case, and you can find out why in TechRadar's exclusive interview with Boyega.
On the edge of tomorrow

- Length: 114 minutes
- Director: Doug Liman
Of course, I had to include one of my favorite sci-fi movies. On the edge of tomorrow, which also made it to Netflix's global top 10 list this week. It has become a cult classic within the genre and is a box office hit that I, along with many others, rewatch ten years later (much like the film itself).
Based on the novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, On the edge of tomorrow The story follows Major William Cage (Tom Cruise), an Army public relations officer in a future where Earth is trying to stop an alien invasion. After being killed on the front lines of a combat mission against the extraterrestrial enemy, he begins reliving the same day over and over again. He joins forces with Private Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt) to save the planet and change the outcome of the war while constantly circling back in time on his mission.
A sci-fi movie with Cruise is usually a winner and this smart, action-packed epic is just another reminder that On the edge of tomorrow It deserves a sequel with its heart-pounding special effects.

I am a mother Clara Rugaard stars as Daughter, a teenager who is the first of a new generation of humans to be raised by Mother (Rose Byrne), a robot whose purpose is to repopulate the Earth after a mass extinction. However, the couple's relationship is thrown into disarray when a stranger (Hilary Swank) arrives at their bunker with disturbing information about the outside world.
I looked I am a mother a few years ago, but it's one that's stuck with me ever since with its captivating story, captivating special effects, and thrilling twists. It shares some similarities with 10 Cloverfield Lanewhich is also another favorite of mine, so if you like high-stakes futuristic thrillers, then… I am a mother It is an ideal watch.
