Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita Rewind It has been announced that a new 2D fighting game will arrive later this year.
Announced during Summer Game Fest 2024, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita Rewind is an all-new adventure described as having an original story “that respects and remixes Power Rangers history with settings” with gameplay that will be familiar and new to Power Rangers fans.
“Players will battle, blast, fight and drive through an ever-changing mix of classic game genres and fan-favorite moments from the series,” said developer Digital Eclipse.
In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita RewindPlayers will face a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers' old enemy, Robo-Rita, who has conjured a portal to send herself back in time so she can finally defeat the Power Rangers.
The game will also feature online and offline cooperative play, allowing up to five players to transform into the Power Ranger of their choice and even pilot their own Zord.
