We've been hearing rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE for a while now, and new unofficial renders of the smartphone may have given us our best look yet at the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.
These renders come from well-known product leakers @OnLeaks and Giznext, and we can see the device from almost every angle. There is also a 360-degree video showing the front and back design of the phone.
Good morning #FutureSquad! Finally, here comes your first look at the #Samsung #GalaxyS24FE (360° video + crisp 5K renders + dimensions)! 😏 On behalf of @GizNext 👉🏻 pic.twitter.com/kDeSi1GIxFJune 15, 2024
If you were hoping for major cosmetic changes, you'll likely be disappointed: based on these renders, the Galaxy S24 FE will look a lot like the Galaxy S23 FE and, indeed, the Samsung Galaxy S24 that launched in January.
This new phone, bearing the FE or Fan Edition designation, should be substantially cheaper than the Galaxy S24 flagships. The Galaxy S23 FE, which debuted in October 2023, originally went on sale for $599.99 / £599 / AU$899.
Specification Appeal
Along with the leaked images, we also have some specifications to talk about here. The Galaxy S24 FE will apparently come with a 6.65-inch display, slightly larger than the 6.4-inch display on the Galaxy S23 FE.
On the back there is expected to be a triple-lens camera module led by a 50MP main camera (as was the case with the 2023 model). The phone may be available with up to 12GB of RAM, while last time it maxed out at 8GB.
The Galaxy S24 FE is said to come with an Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, depending on the region, and storage options will be 128GB or 256GB (no changes here from the previous model).
Previous reports suggested we might have to wait until at least October to receive the phone, but now it looks like the phone could appear sooner. When it appears, expect it to look similar to these unofficial renders.
