Just a week ago, a photo of Huawei's rumored triple-folding phone surfaced, and now we've seen another image, this time folded.
In a post on Chinese site Weibo (via GSMArena), leaker @WhyLab shared a photo of the still-unofficial device, and like last time, it appears in the hand of Huawei executive Richard Yu.
But last time the phone was unfolded, showing off its large display, but this time it's completely folded, so it looks more like a conventional smartphone. And despite having two folds (which creates three distinct sections), it also looks very thin in this image.
This photo also gives us a glimpse of the camera block on the back, which protrudes slightly and appears to have a circular design similar to the camera block on the Huawei Mate X5, which is a more conventional foldable phone with a single crease.
A big screen and an imminent launch
We don't know much about this upcoming phone, but it's said to have a massive foldable display of around 10 inches, which could be achieved by incorporating that extra fold. We've also heard that it could arrive sometime from September.
We'd usually expect more information to leak out if the phone is indeed this close to launch, but these images suggest it could be almost ready.
Don't count on being able to buy it, though, as this foldable phone is unlikely to see a global release. At the very least, there's no real chance of it being available in the US, as Huawei has no presence there.
