Newly founded Polish studio Rebel Wolves has just appointed a new creative director and clearly its future is in good hands.
Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz is the latest addition to the Rebel Wolves roster as creative director. Previously, Tomaszkiewicz spent almost 13 years at CD Projekt Red as director of missions in Cyberpunk 2077 and lead mission designer at The Witcher 3. He also has experience working as lead narrative designer on the upcoming film. League of Legends-MMO Universe at Riot Games.
“It's great to join many of my old friends and meet new ones. I can't wait for everyone to see what the team has been up to for quite some time,” Tomaszkiewicz said in a LinkedIn post celebrating his new job. .
“There are so many fantastic role-playing games today. However, I think there is not only enough space between players, but also a hunger for more captivating stories,” said Tomaszkiewicz (via VGC).
“Our goal is to offer an experience that allows for a variety of options and room for experimentation when playing. Helping create this experience with so many talented people will be my mission at Rebel Wolves, and I can't wait for everyone to see what the team has been up to for quite some time.”
There are many other developers at Rebel Wolves who previously worked on titles like The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, like Tomasz Tinc, editorial director. The Polish studio is currently working on a story-driven AAA RPG saga, which will be available for PC and next-gen consoles, hopefully meaning PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. As of now, there is no further information about the upcoming RPG or when it is scheduled for release.
