With meticulous gestures around flowers, pleats and embroidery, Maison Lemarié, founded in 1880, preserves a rare and precious know-how. Lacoste takes advantage of this precision to reinterpret Crocodile, embroidered entirely by hand for this occasion. The result of this collaboration is 15 unique pieces, each limited to 30 editions. In total, more than 400 pieces have passed through the hands of the most skilled artisans.
On 12 ready-to-wear garments and 3 accessories, the Crocodile is adorned with petal embroidery on two sweatshirts, a sweater, two shirts, two polos, a cardigan and a cap. A down jacket and track pants combine Lacoste's dyeing techniques with Maison Lemarié's floral art. A skirt reveals a delicate pleat, decorated with the brand's signature logo.
Lacoste has teamed up with Maison Lemarié for the third time to create the limited-edition 'Lacoste Embroidery Collection', which includes 15 unique pieces. Combining Lacoste design with Maison Lemarié's expert floral craftsmanship, the collection includes 12 ready-to-wear garments and 3 accessories, each hand-embroidered with intricate floral details.
At the heart of this capsule is the desire to create something truly exceptional, bringing each piece to life. Lacoste oversees design, tailoring and production, while Maison Lemarié brings its signature floral craftsmanship to the collection. This extraordinary collaboration brings together two distinct experiences and visions, honoring the best traditions of craftsmanship. Each piece is carefully crafted by Lacoste and then hand-embellished with intricate floral embroidery by Maison Lemarié – 15 future icons in the making, the company said in a press release.
