Silvia Tcherassi's resort 2025 collection stays true to the brand's DNA and offers whimsical updates to feminine styles, inspired by the brand's archives.
The resort's collection was based on a stonewashing technique used on countless fabrics, including jersey, silk and cotton, and interpreted through embellishments.
“[The inspiration is] everything about this type of technique that we had 20 years ago,” Tcherassi said. “In our archives I saw a show that was in Milan and I decided to incorporate that technique into the resort collection. We feel like we accomplished something very special with it. It is incredible to have the texture, the illusion, everything in our fabrics.”
Tcherassi's affinity for manipulating fabrics allows them to fall perfectly on the wearer. Featured styles include a ruched purple knit dress and a floral embroidered slit dress.
Many of the dresses in the collection also feature a knot motif, which is one of Tcherassi's signature design elements, giving the fitted knit dresses a modern touch without distracting from the overall silhouette.
The collection also offers new denim styles created with the stonewash technique in more casual garments that balance the feminine pieces of the resort collection.
As part of the collection, Tcherassi also presents the new Sofia bag, which comes in small and large sizes. The bag is offered exclusively at Silvia Tcherassi stores, and certain colorways are only available at select locations. Tcherassi said the brand will debut new color combinations of the bag each season.
Tcherassi's resort 2025 collection arrives a few months before the designer opens her new store in Miami's Bal Harbor neighborhood. The store is Tcherassi's third in Florida.
