LVMH is bringing its Watch Week to a new location: Los Angeles, with the event scheduled for January 21-24, 2025, in the City of Angels, the luxury group revealed Wednesday.

Nine LVMH watch brands will present their latest watch creations to specialized journalists, retailers and select clients from around the world. An event designed for the French conglomerate's brands to highlight their unique positioning and experience through their new watches.

However, the announcement comes at a difficult time for LVMH's Watches and Jewelry division. In the first nine months of 2024, revenue from watches and jewelry fell 5% to €7,536 million, the worst performance of any division with the exception of wines and spirits, which fell 11%. Overall, Paris-based LVMH, which has 75% brands within its luxury group, saw its sales fall 2% to just over €60 billion.

Before Los Angeles, LVMH Watch Week was held in Dubai, Singapore and last year in Miami. The next edition marks its first visit to the West Coast of the United States. Among the brands that have regularly participated in this event, which LVMH described in a statement as “a must-see event on the watch industry calendar,” are Bulgari, Hublot, Tag Heuer, Zenith, Daniel Roth and Gérald Genta. They will be joined in January by Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co. and L'Epée 1839.

“This sixth edition of LVMH Watch Week in Los Angeles will feature nine of the group's watch houses, three of them new to the event, driving further momentum to what has become an unmissable event for watch fans. “We are delighted at the prospect of welcoming our customers and all our partners at the beginning of the year for an exhibition of new watches, great surprises and exceptional creations that will mark the year 2025,” commented Frédéric Arnault, CEO of LVMH watches. Frédéric is the third of four sons and one daughter of Bernard Arnault, LVMH's majority shareholder and the group's president and CEO. Frédéric is also the richest twenty-something in Europe.

LVMH did not reveal the exact address of its LA Watch Week, but said it will be held in Bel Air, the upscale residential neighborhood in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains and a district filled with movie star homes.

Each of the group's watch houses plans to hold exclusive presentations of their latest products during this sixth edition of LVMH Watch Week in Los Angeles, showcasing the creative energy of the group's watch division, the conglomerate also noted.
