Jenny Packham Fall 2024 Runway Review, Fashion Show and Ready-to-Wear Collection

Jenny Packham continues to enjoy glam rock and has added a cosmic dimension to her latest collection.

For pre-fall, he looked to London and New York in the glam rock years, and thought of Jerry Hall, David Bowie and Roxy Music lead singer Bryan Ferry wearing their Antony Price suits with the swagger of Elvis Presley .

For that collection, she used her signature powerful shoulders, fitted shapes, and love of sparkle in dresses that had a bohemian feel. There were paisley prints, jewel-embellished dresses, and draped bell sleeves for a dramatic touch.

Her glamorous fall collection had the same shine, but less of the '70s boho angle.

Sparkling star shapes fell on the short sleeves of a black dress, while fringes in the shape of shooting stars hung from a sheer, smoky gray, floor-length dress.

A million silver studs adorned a white scoop-neck dress, while a pink number with puffed shoulders was embellished with pearl constellations on the bodice and sleeves.

This collection was also based on sunset tones, such as deep red, for beaded or sequined dresses with marked shoulders. Packham said she loves raised shoulders because they create a slim waist and add swagger to her shiny silhouettes.
