Canada Goose is “exemplifying its commitment to the next generation of changemakers” with the luxury outdoor brand developing its ties with Central Saint Martins (CSM) with a new multi-year partnership.
Supporting the world-renowned faculty of arts and design in its bid to “shape the world through purpose-driven design,” Canada Goose recently collaborated with CSM students to launch the ‘HumanNature Award for Responsible Design’ inaugural that “builds on this existing relationship and formalizes both parties' shared vision for a better future.”
This new collaboration incorporates a “one-of-a-kind project bringing together two internationally renowned Central Saint Martins master's courses: MA Fashion and MA Material Futures.”
Uniting science, technology, design and fashion, “the ambition is to create new materials and innovative garments that push the limits of sustainability and functionality,” they tell us.
The HumanNature Award will also return for this year's Fashion Master's students, “recognising an approach to design that is original and committed to responsible practice that integrates socio-ecological values.”
The 2024 winner will be announced at Central Saint Martin's MA Fashion Show on February 16.
“This partnership represents a powerful opportunity to support future talent, advance design innovation and drive purposeful change from the bottom up,” said Juliette Streichenberger, president of EMEA and CGAG at Canada Goose.
“[We are working with] Emerging talent that has unparalleled potential to not only support us in our commitment to keeping the planet cold and the people on it, but also to truly drive the fashion and design industry forward.”
