ARRANGE Bespoke, which launched during Paris Haute Couture Week, debuts a handmade dress created by emerging designer Johannes Warnke, a Central Saint Martins student known for his distinctive draping style. Developed alongside ARRANGE's design team, the piece combines production scraps and cuts with its signature naturally dyed peace silk.
ASOS has unveiled ARRANGE Bespoke, a collaboration series for its prestigious ARRANGE fashion brand, during Paris Haute Couture Week. The debut is a handmade dress by Central Saint Martins student Johannes Warnke, made from production scraps, offcuts and naturally dyed peace silk. For sourcing teams, the launch points to ASOS' focus on special occasion fashion concepts and emerging talent.
Hand-sewn from leftover materials, the dress highlights a shared focus on detail, construction and craftsmanship. It offers an early glimpse of the ideas that will shape ARRANGE's future collections.
This marks a new chapter for ARRANGE, ASOS' elevated fashion brand. Through ongoing collaborations, ARRANGE Bespoke will spotlight emerging creative talent while exploring the thinking behind each collection.
The dress was photographed in Paris during Haute Couture Week and was worn by model Keny Salgado, placing ARRANGE at the center of a global moment for fashion and creativity.
Vanessa Spence, executive vice president of brand and creative at ASOSsaid: “The relationship between haute couture and everyday fashion has never been stronger. Customers discover ideas, silhouettes and style inspiration instantly and increasingly expect creativity to be reflected in the brands they shop with.”
“ARRANGE Bespoke gives us the opportunity to celebrate fashion at its most expressive while offering a glimpse into the creative thinking behind ARRANGE. By collaborating with emerging creative talent, we can shine the spotlight on the next generation of designers, bring new perspectives to each collection and showcase the craftsmanship, creativity and storytelling behind the product.”
Johannes Warnke, said: “I was interested in reimagining ARRANGE's signature sequins through movement, taking inspiration from the streets of Paris and the way summer light filters through windows and curtains before falling onto the street. It all started by intuitively recompiling repurposed cuts, playing with different sizes and shapes of sequins to create rhythmic compositions that flow throughout the body. I then introduced layers of hand-dyed peace silk to veil and soften the shine. I wanted the dress to come to life with the wearer, catching the light and the wind as they move. It was so fun to review the collections, play with the sample cuts and collaborate with the ARRANGE team on this project.
Following the reveal, the dress will be kept in the ASOS archive, marking ARRANGE Bespoke's first collaboration.
