Angry Eagles fan throws popcorn at Nick Sirianni after devastating playoff loss


Emotions gripped at least one Philadelphia Eagles fan after their season came to an end on Monday.

The Eagles died a slow death this season, finally being taken off life support with their 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round of the playoffs.

Philadelphia started the season 10-1, but finished the season losing six of its final seven games, including Monday night.

The loss made fans impatient with the same team that had been seconds away from a Super Bowl victory last season, and one of them made known his displeasure with head coach Nick Sirianni, who was hailed as a hero. from Philadelphia last year.

As Sirianni walked back into the tunnel after the loss, a fan wearing a Haason Reddick jersey threw an entire bag of popcorn in Sirianni's direction.

Another fan can be heard in the video yelling, “You're done, Nick. You're done, Nick.”

Security was quick to point out the man who threw the bag and he tried to quickly leave.

Neither the Bucs nor the Eagles immediately responded to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

There is a lot of speculation that Sirianni could be fired, considering the brutal ending to this season.

As for Tampa Bay, they will face the Lions in Detroit, who just earned their first playoff win since 1992.

Baker Mayfield finished with 337 yards passing on 22-of-36 passing with three touchdowns and no interceptions. And although he didn't score a touchdown, tight end Cade Otton was Mayfield's top target, scoring eight of his 11 targets for 89 yards.
