To the editor: The White House called Amazon's proposal to reveal cost increases due to tariffs “a hostile and political act.” (“'Hostile and political act': The White House faces Amazon about the idea of revealing the costs of the rate.” April 29). Then, apparently President Trump does not want the American people to know how much their rates are costing them. Trump announced that the United States has earned billions of dollars from rates. What an ironic, since that could mean how much the tariffs cost to Americans. This cost is likely to be added to the cost payable by the companies or people who buy the product. When companies have a large percentage increase in their cost, in most cases, they have no choice but to transmit that cost to their customers, which the American people mean. In a nutshell: it is practically sure that the beautiful tariffs will not be so beautiful when Americans experience significant increases in their cost of living.
Perhaps, Trump could demonstrate how the American people really care developing a process to transmit all rates collections to those medium and low and low -enterprise revenues people with difficulties. If not, what is the point of everything else other than political appearances?

To the editor: I observe that Amazon confirmed to the White House that he is not planning to show tariff information when customers buy on their platform. The state of California is, at the same time, demanding the federal government On the imposition of these rates.
My suggestion is that California quickly approves the legislation to demand that all suppliers operate physically or virtually in the state that are shown in the sales record, the invoice and advertising of the amount of rates that have been imposed since January 1 on any product sold or offered for sale with a greater value of $ 50. This would provide buyers with information on the true impact of the tax that is being imposed.
