The millionaires, who have shared a personal and professional relationship since they met in 1996, also run several businesses together, share a pet dog and a multimillion-dollar home. They are reported to have a combined net worth of £5 million according to the daily mail.
Since announcing their split, Langsford, who co-hosted This morning Along with Holmes from 2006 until his dismissal in 2020, he has shared an optimistic message to his fans, although he did not mention the breakup.
But Holmes directly mentioned the divorce while hosting her breakfast show on Tuesday (May 28).
He told viewers: “Just before we move on, we would like to thank people for their support of Ruth and I over the last few days regarding the news of our separation. We greatly appreciate your support to both of us.”
1. £3.2m Surrey house
Holmes and Langsford share a six-bedroom house in the Surrey town of Weybridge. Their current living conditions are not confirmed.
Television personality and former X Factor Finalist Rylan Clark previously shared using a specially designed stairlift on the couple's spiral staircase.
The property has a large kitchen, a large dining room with capacity for 9 people, as well as an extensive and well-kept garden.
Many of Langsford's Instagram reels are shot in her kitchen, which features white cabinets with black accents.
Holmes also owned a property in Belfast which he was forced to sell to pay a £250,000 tax bill, according to the daily mail.
He told the Irish independent the experience was “the most stressful besides losing my father.”
At that time he said: “I had a house here [Belfast] Until six weeks ago, when the Treasury forced me to sell it. [HMRC].
“It's something that bothers me a lot because people think that they make a lot of money and that's why they have to pay. “It’s like everything I worked for has been taken away from me.”
2. Maggie the dog
The couple share a pet, Maggie, who is said to be like a “second daughter” to Langsford, who was photographed with the dog shortly after news of the couple's split became public.
Adopted in 2011, the 14-year-old Collie mix is likely at the center of some difficult conversations as the couple tries to finalize custody arrangements.
Maggie is often seen in social media images of Langsford's visits to her elderly mother.
3. Multiple businesses
The couple own a broadcasting company which they set up in 2009. Holmes & Away is said to have £18,657 in assets, according to figures seen by The Sun.
Meanwhile, Langsford raised £2.3m through his company Hey Ho, which loose women presenter created in 2013.
As well as that business, she also runs Feeling Fabulous, a fashion company offering fitness and fashion advice, as well as exclusive access to Ruth's own clothing range.
