Dumbbells are one of many popular products that the CPSC has recalled across the United States.

Last week, more than 200,000 pairs of thermal socks were recalled after multiple reported injuries. The garments, branded 32 Degrees Heating Socks, were on sale in Costco stores and online from August 2025 to March 2026.

When worn during high-intensity activities that generate friction, heat, moisture and pressure, socks can pose “a risk of injury, including burns,” the commission warned. Approximately 14 incidents have been reported, 13 of which involved first- or second-degree burns.

Earlier this month, about 740,000 sets of Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue stainless steel frying pans, sold at Costco, Walmart and Amazon, were recalled. The pans were sold in a two-piece set between August 2021 and February 2026 for around $40.

In announcing the recall, the CPSC warned that the metal cap on the screw that connects the pan to the handle can detach and “forcefully eject” when heated.

New York-based Mishan & Sons, Inc., which imported the trays, received nearly 100 reports of the lid breaking off and flying from the tray. One of those incidents caused the consumer to suffer bruises and burns.
