Travis and Jason Kelce have shared a message regarding the recent shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade.

“We also want to thank the local authorities who [sprung] in action, the first responders on the scene and anyone who was willing to help those affected by this tragedy,” he continued.
On February 14, shots were fired in front of Union Station in Kansas City during a massive parade in honor of the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory. According to local police, 22 people suffered gunshot wounds, more than half of them under the age of 16. Lisa López-Galván, 44, was shot and killed. So far, two juveniles have been charged in connection with the rally shooting.
Travis urged people to donate to the emergency response fund created to help all victims, their families, first responders and mental health services.
Jason continued: “One of the things that is evident is how much Kansas City is coming together and supporting the people who have been affected by this.”

The caption under their video clip read: “Before airing our pre-recorded episode on Wednesday, Jason and Travis wanted 92%ers and Chiefs Kingdom to hear from them directly following the tragic events at the Chiefs parade.”
The Chiefs have already raised more than $680,000 through their emergency response fund. Team owner Clark Hunt, the Travis Foundation and the Patrick Mahomes Foundation have all made significant contributions. The team's tight end specifically donated $100,000 to the family of the two sisters who were shot in the leg to help with their medical expenses.
Additionally, Taylor Swift made her own sizable donation to GoFundMe for Lisa Lopex-Galván. The Anti-Hero singer made two $50,000 donations eight minutes apart.
“I send you my deepest condolences and condolences following your devastating loss. Love, Taylor Swift,” she wrote on the page.
The page's goal was set at $75,000 when it was created, but it has already reached about $373,670.
