Taylor Rousseau Grigg died at age 25, according to an Instagram post made by her husband.

On Saturday, October 5, Cameron Grigg confirmed that his wife's death was “sudden and unexpected,” but did not reveal the cause of death. “No one expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartbreak, especially at our age,” she began her post, including multiple images of the couple together.

“This past year, Taylor has had to deal with more pain and suffering than most people do in their entire life. And despite that, she has still been a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.”

She described the TikToker as “brave” and “strong,” despite the “circumstances she has faced” and relying on her faith to help her overcome her struggles.

Grigg noted that his wife's body was still at the hospital in preparation for organ donation.

“I know that she has saved my life and the lives of many other people. “His earthly body is still here with us being handled by machines to keep his organs viable for donation,” his post continued. “More than anything, Taylor would want to know that he continues to save people's lives even after he is gone from this world. And although his earthly body has failed him, his memory and his life will last forever.”

While the TikToker's husband mentioned that no explanation was necessary or should be given to his fans, Taylor “would like everyone to know that he is more than fine” and that he is “no longer in pain.”

The lengthy caption ended with Grigg explaining that they “don't have anything in order financially” because Taylor was constantly in and out of the hospital and they had no insurance.

“Taylor has been in and out of the hospital since we got married, which has affected our financial situation, therefore we do not have any insurance,” he wrote. “…I love you all. Taylor loves you all. Thank you for all the support and kind words during this time,” he concluded, linking to the GoFundMe page.

“It is with our deepest condolences that we acknowledge the passing of Taylor, who has now spread her wings. “Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her,” reads the description of the GoFundMe page.

“We would appreciate everyone's respect and privacy towards our family at this time. His social media family was a huge blessing in his life and we can't thank them enough for the love and support they gave him. We are working on holding a charity event in Taylor's honor as she would love for everyone who loved her to celebrate her life. More details will be available soon. To help the family cover the costs, we have started a GoFundMe.”

The TikToker had previously spoken about her health on her page and explained that she was “fighting for her life” in a video posted on August 8.

“I feel like I'm fighting for life every day. “When I didn't necessarily know what was wrong with me, I was in bed suffering and wishing I was dead because I just wanted this to be over and I don't necessarily feel that way now,” she said.

She also burst into tears, feeling like she was too young to experience the level of pain she was experiencing. “It just sucks because I'm 24 years old,” he said. “I should be at my best. “I should be able to walk to the mailbox or run and those are things I can’t do right now.”

Taylor explained why she wouldn't share her exact diagnosis at the time, though she noted that keeping her health issues private “leaves room for people to make suggestions and tell me what to do.”

“In the past, I caught myself doing things because people on the Internet told me it had to be that way. shapeeither I have to do this or I have to do that. “I’m done doing that,” he said.

Taylor had 1.4 million followers on TikTok at the time of her death. His death comes a few weeks after he celebrated his 25th birthday, according to a TikTok he posted on September 9. The video, titled “Spend My Birthday With Me,” showed Taylor and Cameron having lunch together and going on a trip to Target.
