Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal walked hand in hand at the wedding reception party on June 23 in Mumbai. The couple dazzled in traditional Indian attire and exchanged sweets at the reception, making it a big happy moment.
Sonakshi, who had worn a pastel ivory-hued saree for the signing ceremony, chose a traditional and vibrant brocade silk saree in red by Raw Mango by Sanjay Garg. The rich color of the saree was further enhanced with gold chand or gold crescent moon motifs. The saree's golden border and motifs sparkled under the lights as Sonakshi posed with her husband Zaheer. The saree was paired with a custom red blouse.
Sonakshi's traditional bridal outfit was accessorized with a contrasting jewelery set that included a choker and chandbalis. Her signature winged eyeliner, kohl-laden eyes, red sindoor and bindi completed her beautiful bridal look. What we love about Sonakshi's wedding outfit is that she chose to keep it traditional and we are glad that she chose red, just like we predicted. She accessorized with a gold potli bag and chose gold wedge heels for her footwear. Sonakshi adorned mogra flowers paired with her bun for sleeping.
Zaheer Iqbal let his bride shine on her special day as he opted for an ivory bandhgala sherwani kurta set. The tone-on-tone textured jacket paired with a white kurta set may be subtle, but the groom looked dapper in the ensemble.
The couple posed for photographers who were eagerly waiting for them at the reception party. All smiling and full of joy, the couple also posed with photographers and shared some fun jokes with them at the venue. Sonakshi and Zaheer then joined their waiting guests to wish the happy couple.
