Bride Radhika Merchant wore a Manish Malhotra couture design featuring a Banarasi brocade lehenga and blouse inspired by the rich textile heritage of Kutch, Gujarat.
Radhika Merchant, daughter of Viren and Shaila Merchant, tied the knot with Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, in a grand wedding on July 12, 2024, in Mumbai. The wedding ceremony was held at the Jio World Convention Centre.

Known for her love of Indian crafts and textiles, Radhika’s opulent ensemble included an exquisite blouse crafted with authentic karchobi gold work. Inspired by the traditional abho (kurta) and the rich textile heritage of Kutch, Gujarat, the statement piece resonated with late 19th-century art.
Radhika paired the luminous blouse with a multi-panel Banarasi brocade lehenga in sunset hues. A perfect tribute to the timeless elegance of India. The ensemble also featured a V-shaped lattice design over a beautiful red veil that complemented Radhika’s overall attire. The colour of romance blending with emotions, Radhika’s bridal attire was the perfect bridal trousseau a bride could ask for. The look was completed with a woven Banarasi dupatta.
Radhika’s vidai ensemble was styled by draping artist Dolly Jain and her hair and makeup were done by Loveleen Ramchandani and Hiral Bhatia. The majestic images shot by Signe Vilstrup were photographed against the backdrop of a dreamy decor celebrating the eternal city, Varanasi.
