Paris Hilton responds to concerns about blankets in her son's crib

Paris Hilton has responded to the backlash over the amount of blankets in her son's crib.

On January 9, the socialite took to her Instagram and TikTok, revealing an intimate moment between her and her almost one-year-old son, Phoenix, and eight-week-old daughter, London. Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum, welcomed Pheonix in early 2023 via a surrogate. Then in November, the happy couple announced the birth of London, who was also born via surrogate.

In the heartwarming social media post, both children were seen sleeping soundly next to each other in the same room. Looking at Pheonix, Hilton said, “Paris Hilton responds to backlash over blankets in his son's crib.”

Then he headed to London. “Oh, the princess,” she commented.

While the images were intended to be encouraging, some eagle-eyed TikTok users expressed concern about the state of Pheonix's crib.

One wrote: “Paris, I love this! Be sure to check on safe sleep practices for your sweet babies.”

Instead of responding angrily, Hilton thanked her distraught followers for their advice.

Alongside a red heart emoji, the star said: “Thanks for letting me know.”

Recently, Hilton admitted that she waited to tell her mother, Kathy, about Phoenix.

“My life has been so public, so open. “I just didn’t want my son to go out into the world without me being in control,” she said in the second season of Paris in love. “I'm so glad I did it that way, just so Carter and I had that trip together without the outside world intervening.”

Although Hilton tried to protect her children by delaying the announcements of their births, since telling the world, she has been more willing to share sweet moments with them.

On January 10, the reality star posted a funny video of Pheonix standing next to a trash can. Its on-screen caption read: “I tell my friend not to go back to her toxic ex.”

In the background, Hilton can be heard calling out to Pheonix as he repeats “no” after her. “Leave the trash in the past,” he wrote.

Fans couldn't contain their excitement at seeing their baby using a walker. One enamored fan commented: “OMG he has gotten so tall, look at him standing like a little gentleman.”

“It's so tall and absolutely perfect. Thank you for sharing your growth with us,” said another.

A third added: “When he said no, he's doing great.”

“My little angel baby,” Paris responded to one comment.
