Michael Strahan's 19-year-old daughter Isabella has revealed that she is officially cancer-free.

Isabella shared a video on YouTube on July 18, months after first revealing that she had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. In the video, titled “Goodbye Hospital,” the model documented herself going in for an MRI.

She filmed herself in a car as she shared her test results, revealing she was cancer-free.

“It was a fantastic scan,” she said. “Everything went well. I’m cancer-free and everything is great. I don’t have another doctor’s appointment until October.”

She expressed gratitude toward her medical team over the past few months as she undergoes treatment for a cancerous brain tumor, also known as medulloblastoma, which develops in the lower back part of the brain called the cerebellum.

“I miss my doctors already,” Isabella continued in her video. “I feel like I’m sad today knowing that I wasn’t going to be able to come back for a while because I love them so much. So this was my last hospital vlog until October!”

In January, Isabella appeared in Good morning america Alongside his father, where they announced that he had been diagnosed with medulloblastoma in October 2023. His diagnosis came after he began experiencing “unbearable” headaches and nausea during his first semester as a freshman at the University of Southern California. After he woke up one morning and began vomiting blood, he got an MRI. From there, doctors discovered that he had developed a four-centimeter tumor growing in the back of his brain, about the size of a golf ball.

After undergoing surgery to remove the mass in late October, she underwent a month of rehabilitation and several rounds of radiation therapy. “I just finished radiation therapy, which is proton radiation, and yesterday I rang the bell,” she explained in January. “It was great. It was very exciting because it was 30 long sessions, six weeks.”

Since then, Isabella has continued to document her cancer battle on YouTube. Last month, she shared a video of herself and her family in the hospital as she celebrated her final round of chemotherapy treatment. In the video, she is seen walking down the hospital hallway as her loved ones and family threw confetti at her.

The video ended with Isabella wearing a crown and ringing a silver bell, as if it were a toll to say that her “treatment is over” and that she was “in [her way].” Her father Michael also shared a video on his Instagram of the celebration, along with a sweet message about his daughter in the caption.

“@isabellastrahan you are a SUPERWOMAN. You are ringing the bell to finish chemo and keep going!” the news anchor wrote. “You are still fighting with a smile on your face, strength and determination. I am a proud daddy! I love you, Bella.”

During her daughter's appearance in January in Good morning americaMichael explained how his cancer diagnosis changed his everyday perspective on life.

“You learn that you’re probably not as strong as you thought you were when you have to think about the real things, and I realized that I need support from everyone,” the former New York Giants player said. “You think I’m the athlete, the tough guy, that I can come in and handle it, that I’m the family man. It’s not about any of that. It doesn’t matter. And it’s really made me change my perspective on a lot of things in my life.”

The former NFL star is a father of four children. He has two children – daughter Tanita, 32, and son Michael Jr, 29 – with first wife Wanda Hutchins. In 2004, he welcomed Isabella and her twin sister, Sophia, with second wife Jean Muggli.
