Matty Healy's fiancée, Gabbriette Bechtel, is looking forward to starting a family.
The 26-year-old model has her sights set on having children with the 1975 singer, according to her recent interview with Vogue UKAlthough the couple only got engaged a month ago, Bechtel is confident that she and Healy, 35, will be parents one day. In fact, she's already laying down some ground rules at the dinner table.
“When I have kids, it will be: We will have dinner every night, no phones, to celebrate the smallest things and acknowledge people’s happiness,” she told the outlet in an interview published July 16.
Although Bechtel and Healy currently live separately, according to Vogue UK, They will soon move to the musician's home in Hollywood, California.
Since Bechtel was dubbed Charli XCX's poster girl Golf club Back in the summer, it was only fitting that Healy proposed with a black diamond ring. The model debuted the grunge engagement ring in a June 12 Instagram post, captioned, “City brat, bitch.” The fashion mogul was seen pouting with black eyeliner under her eyes, while holding her ring finger up for the camera.
Healy's mother Denise Welch confirmed the couple were engaged while speaking on the famous British talk show, Loose womenShe admitted that Bechtel's Instagram post came a few weeks after her son's proposal.
“I’ve known for a few weeks that Matty got engaged,” Welch said. “They went to see their friends, Charli and George, in New York and this morning I woke up to the news that they had posted it on Instagram.”
“A black diamond, she had it made especially for her,” Welch said of Bechtel’s engagement ring.
Prior to her relationship with the “Robbers” singer, Bechtel dated Bob Dylan's grandson, Levi Dylan, in 2020. Elsewhere in her interview with Vogue UKThe gothic fashionista admitted she had never been truly in love before.
“I love being in love… When I thought I was in love, I was just a person serving someone else,” she told the outlet, adding that her relationship with Healy is true love.
The soon-to-be-married couple sparked early romance speculation after Healy reportedly ended his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift. However, neither Healy nor Bechtel have given an update on their wedding plans.
