In Ayurveda it is cited as a remedy for more than 300 diseases. Known as Sigru by Acharya Bhav Prasad, it is compared to an arrow that quickly penetrates metals, simplifying the purification process.
Its effectiveness extends to facilitating the elimination of toxins through sweat and combating stomach worms. Rich in vitamin A, vitamin B1, B2, B6 and B12, drumstick finds applications in various health conditions and effectively addresses numerous ailments. It is beneficial in diabetes by significantly reducing sugar levels.
The decoction made from chicken thigh helps in relieving various excruciating pains such as joint pain, chronic pain, muscle pain and bone pain. Its leaves, crushed and cooked in mustard oil, can be administered topically to relieve joint discomfort. It is of great help in the fight against fat, obesity and skin conditions.
