The Manish Malhotra ensemble consists of 16 panels beautifully framed with intricate zari embroidery.
A harmonious blend of tradition and craftsmanship, the off-white and gold anarkali complemented Kiara Advani’s radiance and beauty.
On the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi, Kiara Advani added festive cheer in a timeless anarkali designed by renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
A harmonious blend of tradition and craftsmanship, the off-white and gold anarkali perfectly complemented Kiara’s radiance and beauty. Each of the 16 panels of the anarkali featured intricate zari embroidery that highlighted Manish’s unique design aesthetic. The full-sleeved anarkali is embellished with golden floral motifs that further enhance the sheer bodice and panels.
Kiara, who looked like a vision in her opulent festive silhouette, paired it with a traditional Banarasi dupatta and handwoven tissue paper. Kiara accessorized her look with exquisite Manish Malhotra pink tourmaline and diamond earrings, which feature a harmonious combination of brilliant-cut and rose diamonds, masterfully set in 18-carat gold.
Kiara’s festive look also saw the actress flaunting a traditional hairdo with a bun adorned with mogra flowers and red bindi that added a touch of pop to her pastel ensemble. Every intricate detail on this silhouette is a showstopper and Kiara rocks it like a true desi girl.
Kiara wore the anarkali for Mukesh and Nita Ambani's Ganesh Darshan at Antilia and was accompanied by her husband, actor Sidharth Malhotra. Sidharth also opted for a Manish Malhotra look for the ceremony. Sidharth chose a pastel peach kurta embroidered with multicoloured floral designs.
Manish Malhotra took to Instagram to share a series of images of Kiara wearing this custom creation. Describing her look, Manish said, “Beautiful @kiaraaliaadvani. Resplendent in classic off-white and gold… Handwoven silk on a Banarasi loom and silk organza with intricate zari work. Epitome of traditional elegance… elegant matching earrings by @manishmalhotrajewelly.”
Manish Malhotra, who also hosted a Ganesh darshan at his residence, also saw Kiara grace the occasion in a radiant red chikankari anarkali paired with a matching dupatta. The tone-on-tone embroidery on the sheer fabric accentuated her festive look.
Rich in Indian craftsmanship and perfect for the modern Indian woman, this silhouette is a must-have this festive season. From intricate thread work to statement necklines, Manish Malhotra captures the pulse of modern Indian fashion with style.
