Kendall Jenner surprises fans by visiting the Louvre barefoot: “How horrible!”

Kendall Jenner surprised her fans by walking barefoot at the Louvre museum in Paris.

Recently, in an Instagram post, Jenner, 28, shared a photograph of herself posing in front of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci and The wedding at Cana By Paola Veroneses.

She captioned the post: “The Louvre at midnight.”

However, several of her two million followers were quick to point out her obvious lack of footwear.

The reality star is believed to have embarked on a private nighttime tour of the museum on Monday (June 24) alongside rapper Bad Bunny, with whom she is romantically involved.

Jenner's Instagram post also included images of sculptures in the empty Salles des Cariatides and the painted ceiling in the Galerie d'Apollon, suggesting that The Kardashians The star may have walked barefoot through several sections of the 400-room museum.

Several social media users expressed concern about the model's hygiene.

“Being barefoot in the Louvre seems very aesthetic until you remember how dirty Paris is,” one person commented on X/Twitter.

Another fan wrote: “Why this obsession with going barefoot? I get that it makes your photos romantic and aesthetically pleasing, but girl, the floor is DIRTY. Aesthetic photographs with feet touching the ground of Paris have fun cleaning them up.”

Others on social media accused Jenner and Bad Bunny of flaunting their wealth.

The Louvre's private events brochure states that the price of a private out-of-hours tour of the museum's permanent collections starts at €10,000 (£8,500).

“A peasant like me couldn't even have a selfie stick there,” one person commented.

Another added: “For a Kardashian-Jenner to once again highlight the extreme income inequality in France, precisely everywhere, is quite ironic.”

“Rich people are so weird,” someone else said.

Not everyone was critical, however, with some fans commenting on the romantic evening she and Bad Bunny seemed to share.

“What beautiful photos! The Louvre is amazing at night and you make it even more special,” one person wrote on Instagram.

Bad Bunny and Jenner appear to be dating again following rumors that they split in December 2023.

Early on Monday night (June 24), the couple was photographed leaving a Paris Fashion Week event together. Previously, Jenner attended the rapper's concert in Orlando on May 20.
